As a Security Officer Armed Driver Rover in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities while serving in an armed post.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, parking areas, corridors, entrances, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or public emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional presence at the location by communicating clearly with occupants and guests, following post orders, and remaining prepared to address changing conditions across commercial property and healthcare-related environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
