UI Health Care's Enterprise Analytics team is seeking a motivated student with an interest in data, healthcare operations, and enterpriselevel information systems. The intern will support analytics initiatives by assisting with data validation, dashboard and report development, and routine data management tasks. Additional responsibilities include contributing to analytics project workflows, supporting system lifecycle activities, and helping translate operational needs into actionable data insights. The role involves regular communication with stakeholders to clarify requirements, provide updates on analytics requests, and ensure accuracy and usability of delivered reports. The intern will also gain exposure to enterprise data platforms and work with data sourced from the electronic health record (EHR) and other clinical and operational systems. This position offers handson experience with healthcare analytics, change management processes, and data governance within a large academic medical center. It's an excellent opportunity to build practical skills in data analysis, reporting, and enterprise information systems while learning how analytics supports patient care, quality improvement, and organizational decisionmaking. Student employee must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, up to 20 hours, across at least 3 weekdays during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM). Work hours can be flexible. |
