Job Summary The Enterprise Senior Architect, working under minimal supervision, holds a critical position in providing strategic guidance and leadership in shaping the organization's technology infrastructure. The role involves designing and implementing enterprise-level architectural solutions to support the company's business objectives. The role collaborates with key stakeholders to analyze business requirements, assess existing systems, and develop comprehensive technology strategies and is responsible for evaluating emerging technologies, conducting feasibility studies, and making recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades. The role also ensures the alignment of IT systems with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Job Responsibilities
- Collaborates with key stakeholders, including business leaders and technology teams, to understand business goals, strategies, and requirements, and translates them into architectural plans and roadmaps.
- Develops and maintains the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Defines and communicates the architectural vision, guiding principles, and standards to ensure consistency and coherence across the organization's IT infrastructure and systems.
- Conducts comprehensive analysis and assessment of the existing IT landscape, identifying areas for improvement, recommending architectural enhancements, and driving strategic transformation initiatives.
- Leads the design and development of enterprise-level architectural solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance to support the organization's business objectives.
- Evaluates emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact on the insurance company's IT infrastructure, and providing recommendations for strategic investments and innovation.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as solution architects, developers, infrastructure engineers, and security specialists, to ensure the successful implementation and integration of architectural solutions.
- Provides technical leadership and guidance to project teams, assisting in the resolution of complex architectural issues, and ensuring adherence to architectural standards and guidelines.
- Conducts risk assessments and recommends risk mitigation strategies to address potential security vulnerabilities, data privacy concerns, and compliance requirements.
- Serves as a subject matter expert and consultant, advising stakeholders on technology trends, emerging architectures, and best practices to leverage IT solutions for competitive advantage within the insurance industry.
Job Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or Enterprise IT Strategy or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and/or commensurate experience.
