Job Description: Perkins Coie's nationally recognized Commercial Litigation group is seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to join the Portland office. This position will assist with coordinating and supporting all phases of commercial litigation matters throughout the firm. The individual in this role must possess extensive experience in, and a thorough understanding of, all aspects of litigation case support including, but not limited to, document and data preservation, collection, processing, review, production, and document/information management systems and databases. The individual must also demonstrate the ability to conduct legal research, perform cite-checking in legal briefs and memoranda, and conduct complex factual investigations. This role manages discovery, prepares for and schedules depositions, as well as the coordination of pretrial preparation and trial support for trial proceedings both in Oregon and in other States, and all other case management duties assigned by attorneys. In addition, as a member of the Perkins Coie LLP professional support staff team, this position is responsible for promoting and maintaining the goodwill and reputation of the firm. In this capacity, the Paralegal is expected to maintain the highest level of professional conduct and confidentiality. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
