Enrollment Support Specialist, Undergraduate (Temporary, Part-Time)

General Summary of Position:

This part-time (18 hours/ week) temporary position provides administrative support for UMass Lowell's Online Undergraduate Student Success team. The Enrollment Support Specialist (ESS) will review the records of incoming students to ensure timely follow-up on transcripts and enrollment. The ESS will also support student retention and enrollment efforts, including call campaigns, Zoom Room support, and other duties as assigned. Please note this is a 6-month contract position with the possibility to renew per departmental needs.

Job Responsibilities Include:

* Maintain knowledge University programs, policies, and procedures.

* Evaluate incoming student records, acting as a quality check on transfer credits and credentials. Make recommendations to advisors for follow-up.

* Set up student cases and initial email correspondence for student success team.

* Provide timely follow-up and case management on all related advisement report questions/concerns.

* Collaborate with various university offices on student records.

* Participate in outreach efforts to re-enroll students each semester.

* Meet all service level agreements (SLA's) for student support.

* Document student services and case management records in CRM and utilize all required systems including Five 9, Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Softdocs, Slate, Zoom etc.

* Follow all internal business processes as determined and documented by Management

Minimum Qualifications (Required):



  • Associate's degree required - Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience with student advising or registrar services preferred.
  • Service-oriented: Intrinsic desire to help others succeed in reaching their goals.
  • Experience with observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from relevant sources, and keeping records in a CRM. Strong computer skills and ability to quickly adapt to new technology. Knowledge and/or willingness to learn SIS and Salesforce
  • The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail a must.
