*Description*
The IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, enterprise-wide infrastructure initiatives that support strategic business and technology objectives. This role provides leadership across cross-functional teams, ensuring successful planning and execution of projects related to infrastructure modernization, platform delivery, and operational improvement. This position requires a seasoned professional with strong program leadership, stakeholder influence, and technical understanding, capable of operating in highly complex, fast-paced environments while driving alignment across business and IT. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Strategic Project & Program Leadership *Lead the delivery of large-scale, cross-functional infrastructure programs with significant business impact *Drive project strategy, prioritization, and execution planning aligned to organizational goals *Oversee multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring alignment across interdependent workstreams *Establish and maintain roadmaps, timelines, financial tracking, and delivery metrics ________________________________________ Executive Stakeholder Engagement *Serve as a trusted partner to leadership, business stakeholders, and IT executives *Provide clear, concise executive-level reporting, insights, and recommendations *Facilitate governance forums, including steering committees and decision-making sessions *Drive alignment across competing priorities and organizational boundaries ________________________________________ Cross-Functional Leadership & Delivery *Lead collaboration across infrastructure, engineering, security, architecture, and operations teams *Ensure coordination across key infrastructure domains, including: oCompute, storage, and virtualization oNetwork and connectivity oCloud and platform services oIdentity and security *Manage dependencies, integration points, and sequencing across complex initiatives ________________________________________ Risk, Issue & Dependency Management *Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies at both project and program levels *Implement mitigation strategies and lead escalations as needed *Drive accountability for resolution across teams and stakeholders ________________________________________ Governance, Standards & Compliance *Ensure adherence to enterprise governance frameworks, architecture standards, and security policies *Maintain oversight of project controls, documentation, and quality standards *Support regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements where applicable ________________________________________ Financial & Resource Management *Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking *Optimize resource allocation across internal teams and external partners *Oversee vendor performance, deliverables, and contractual commitments ________________________________________ Change Leadership & Organizational Impact *Lead initiatives with significant organizational and operational change implications *Partner with business and IT leaders to drive adoption and minimize disruption *Guide communication and readiness strategies at a program level *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification *Experience in large-scale infrastructure transformations or cloud initiatives *Familiarity with SDLC and release management practices (high-level understanding) *Exposure to enterprise architecture or IT strategy planning *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
