What you'll do

The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Compliance & Analytics role is responsible for strengthening and scaling existing supply chain compliance execution, ongoing audit readiness, government/customer reporting, and analytics-enabled continuous improvement for procurement, strategic sourcing, subcontracting, supplier management, materials, and contract administration. This role helps validate, sustain, and enhance accurate, traceable, and defensible reporting positions, data inputs, supplier files, and business decision support aligned with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, CAS where applicable, prime contract flowdowns, customer terms, and internal controls.

This position sits at the intersection of Supply Chain, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Subcontracts, Materials Management, Contracts, Legal, Finance, Quality, and Program Management. The successful candidate will translate evolving regulatory obligations and operational questions into enhancements to existing processes, reports, dashboards, controls, and response packages that help the business move quickly while sustaining audit readiness.

This is a compliance and reporting leadership role with strong analytics enablement. Technology, dashboards, automation, and AI-enabled workflows are tools to improve visibility, exception identification, workflow consistency, and execution. The role is not intended to own enterprise architecture, platform administration, data engineering, or day-to-day systems maintenance.

The day-to-day

Government Reporting & Compliance Deliverables

  • Lead and coordinate recurring government and customer reporting obligations related to procurement, subcontracting, supplier management, supply chain performance, and government contract compliance.

  • Maintain and enhance the established reporting calendar with deadlines, accountable owners, source systems, review and approval paths, submission records, and evidence retention requirements.

  • Prepare, review, and validate report inputs to support continued accuracy, completeness, traceability, and defensibility before submission.

  • Support government-contractor reporting and data calls, customer/DCMA/DCAA requests, CPSR-related inquiries, and other oversight requests.

  • Develop and refine clear narratives, management summaries, and response packages for internal leadership, customer reviews, audit teams, and government oversight activities.

  • Partner with Contracts, Finance, Legal, Quality, Procurement, and Program Management to investigate discrepancies when they arise and maintain documented, supportable reporting positions.

Supply Chain Analytics, Metrics & Decision Support

  • Support reporting of key metrics and scorecards for compliance posture, procurement file quality, supplier onboarding, subcontract flowdown execution, small business commitments, supplier delivery and quality, material readiness, requisition-to-purchase-order cycle time, purchase order accuracy, audit action items, continuous improvement activities, and corrective actions when applicable.

  • Translate evolving regulatory obligations, operating questions, and leadership priorities into enhancements to ad hoc analyses, dashboards, scorecards, and executive-ready insights in partnership with Analytics, Business Systems, and functional supply chain teams.

  • Develop and maintain a deep working understanding of internal supply chain data sources across ERP, MRP, procurement, subcontracts, supplier quality, and materials systems to support accurate reporting and repeatable analysis.

  • Partner with analytics engineering resources to validate that datasets, dashboard logic, and metric definitions are modeled appropriately for supply chain compliance, operational reporting, and trend tracking.

  • Use dashboards and exception reports to identify compliance trends, bottlenecks, control improvement opportunities, cycle-time delays, supplier risk signals, and opportunities for corrective action when applicable.

  • Assess relevant external data sources, reporting tools, and supplier/supply chain intelligence sources that could further improve compliance visibility, reporting quality, supplier risk management, or operational insight.

  • Maintain a feedback loop with business users to improve dashboard usefulness, report clarity, metric adoption, and the practical value of analytics outputs.

Process Improvement, Automation & Workflow Enablement

  • Identify opportunities to further streamline, automate, or make self-service appropriate compliance, reporting, evidence-collection, approval, and status-tracking processes.

  • Partner with analytics, automation, and business systems resources to enhance, extend, and standardize controlled workflows for data collection, approvals, exception routing, corrective action tracking, and management reporting.

  • Evaluate automation and AI-enabled workflow concepts to preserve human review, documentation, data integrity, access controls, approval discipline, and audit trail requirements.

  • Translate manual, semi-automated, or evolving reporting processes, where appropriate, into clear business requirements, acceptance criteria, control expectations, and operating procedures for technical teams and business owners.

  • Manage cross-functional improvement projects with clear scope, milestones, owners, risks, dependencies, and implementation communications.

  • Educate business users through training, documentation, office hours, and adoption support so reporting and workflow improvements become embedded in daily operations.

Systems & Data Enablement - Supporting Responsibility

  • Validate and enhance the use of ERP, MRP, procurement, contract management, and reporting tools to capture data, approvals, and supporting evidence needed for audit readiness, government reporting, and operational decision-making.

  • Clarify, maintain, and enhance source-of-record expectations for critical report inputs, metric definitions, control evidence, supplier attributes, and compliance data elements.

  • Review system, dashboard, automation, and process changes from a compliance perspective to help preserve required controls, retention, traceability, and data quality expectations.

  • Use available system outputs to support reporting, monitoring, and decision-making while relying on dedicated technical teams for SQL pipeline development, code ownership, platform administration, enterprise architecture, and day-to-day systems maintenance.

What you'll need

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, subcontracts, contracts, compliance, internal controls, audit readiness, government reporting, supply chain analytics enablement, or related roles.

  • Proven ability to strengthen, maintain, monitor, and continuously improve internal controls, policies, procedures, corrective action plans, and evidence-retention practices.

  • Strong understanding of procurement, subcontracting, supplier management, material planning touchpoints, contract flowdowns, approval controls, segregation of duties, and audit-ready file documentation.

  • Demonstrated ability to define and refine KPIs, interpret supply chain data, and translate operational or compliance questions into reporting requirements, dashboards, scorecards, or executive insights.

  • Experience partnering with analytics, business intelligence, automation, or business systems teams to improve reporting quality, supply chain visibility, metric tracking, or workflow efficiency.

  • Working familiarity with ERP, MRP, procurement, contract management, or supplier management systems as sources of evidence, metrics, and reporting data.

  • Excellent written communication skills, including experience preparing executive summaries, audit responses, compliance memos, reporting narratives, procedures, training materials, and business requirements.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without direct authority, and drive accountability across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain, contracts, finance, compliance, information systems, engineering, analytics, or a related field.
