Machine Operator Location:Owego, NY (13827) Job ID: #72633 Pay Range: $16-18 Pay based on experience 1st Shift - Mon-Thurs 500am - 330pm some OT on FRIs or SATs US Citizenship required THE COMPANY -Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies. SUMMARY Operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and equipment such as small lathes, power mills, extruding machines, drills or punch presses, power brakes, shears or saws. May set-up machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled or CNC. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: -US Citizenship required -Pass drug test & background checks - High School diploma or GED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: - Basic Computer Skills Required - Attention to detail Skills Required - Communication Skills Required Speak, Read, Understand & Write English -Experience with visual acuity in working with microscopes - Preferred Skill - SAP Software use - Preferred Skill Benefits provided:401K,medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.
