Assembler (Electromechanical) - Interview Overview ? Location: Rochester, NY (100% Onsite) ? Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Flexible) \| 8 hr/day \| 5 days/week ? Contract: 18 Months ? Bill Rate:$30-$38/hr About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Assembler with electromechanical experience to support prototype builds in an engineering lab environment. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where you'll work closely with engineers to bring new product designs to life and improve manufacturing processes. What You'll Do ? Prototype Assembly Build electromechanical products using written and verbal instructions Work in an engineering lab setting on new product development ? Collaboration Partner with Design and Manufacturing Engineers Participate in daily discussions with project stakeholders ?? Process Improvement Recommend improvements to reduce cost and assembly time Redline assembly procedures and Bills of Materials (BOMs) ?? Manufacturing Support Assist in developing work cells and assembly processes Help define best practices for scaling production Required Qualifications ? 2+ years of electromechanical assembly experience ? Strong experience with hand tools Screwdrivers, torque drivers, wrenches, pliers ? Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes ? Strong communication skills(verbal & written) ? Comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment Preferred Qualifications ? Associate degree (or higher) in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering ? Soldering experience(PCBA, through-hole, SMT) ? Experience with fabrication tools(hand drill, drill press) ?
