Thisacademic orthopedic surgeon joboffershigh-volume clinical practice, teaching, and mentorship within thefirst medical school in East Texas. Physicians practice in a large regional referral system with access to aLevel I Trauma Center.

About the position:

  • Two New state-of-the-art orthopedic clinicsin Tyler Midtown & South Tyler
  • Join a group of 17 physicians ranging in experience from 2-20+ years, with 13 APP's to provide support
  • New Medical Education Building (2026)with8 operating rooms, robotics, and advanced arthroscopy
  • The facility is equipped with MAKO robotic technology, the da Vinci Xi surgical system, a 3T MRI, CT, and in-house imaging.
  • Patient volume:20-25 patients per day
  • Case mix:90% outpatient orthopedic surgery 10% inpatient
  • Schedule:Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-12
  • 4 hours/week of protected administrative time
  • Call: Averages 3 days per month
