Description
The Department ofBiomathematics is seeking a Bioinformatics Programmer to support innovative neuroscience research through advanced computational and data science applications. In this role, the incumbent will apply computational and bioinformatics expertise to develop, implement, and optimize research software, analytical pipelines, and data-driven tools. Responsibilities include managing and analyzing complex datasets, supporting high-performance computing (HPC) environments, advancing algorithm and software development, and evaluating emerging computational technologies. The position requires strong programming and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to translate computational theory into impactful research solutions across diverse scientific applications. This is a limited role which may convert to career. Hourly range: $33.96-$69.54 Qualifications
