As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive and predictive maintenance on all mechanical equipment. This position requires thorough knowledge of the functions and operations of all plant equipment and machinery in order to provide effective operation and efficient maintenance

What you'll do:

  • Trouble-shoot, re-build and repair all plant equipment as to pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical malfunctions

  • Move and install plant machinery and equipment as required

  • Perform preventative maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment as needed

  • Perform facility repairs such as, lighting, A/C, garage doors, etc.

  • Work directly with the maintenance manager to perform equipment's improvement

  • Ability to give detailed descriptions related to troubleshooting and repair of equipment on a PC based system

  • Following company policy using lock out tag out

  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • 5 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Understand, read, write and speak English

  • Ability to stand for at least 50% of shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted)

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and control systems.

  • Previous experience using and interpreting maintenance related blueprints (electrical and mechanical), schematics, sketches, and drawings.

  • Experienced with the use of tools and measuring devices common to the Maintenance Mechanic's Trade.

  • Previously worked with the NFPA 70/NEC standards.

  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook or other email platform)

  • High degree of mechanical aptitude, accuracy and precision

  • Experience with interacting with vendors and ability to describe repair issues on equipment and other.
