Associated Bank is seeking a QA Team Lead to guide a team of QA professionals and help deliver high-quality technology solutions across the organization. In this role, you will lead testing strategy, allocate resources, and partner with project teams to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget. This is an opportunity to grow your leadership impact while shaping quality standards in a collaborative banking environment.
Key Accountabilities
  • Manage and mentor a team of QA Analysts, supporting professional development, coaching, and performance management.
  • Develop and drive testing strategies that align with QA Center of Excellence standards and project goals.
  • Allocate QA resources across projects to ensure testing timelines and quality expectations are met.
  • Partner with QA Leads, IT teams, and business stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project risks, testing progress, and budget impacts, taking action to resolve issues proactively.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with Automation QA teams to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate defect tracking and communicate testing results to project teams and leadership.
  • Ensure testing activities comply with regulatory requirements, risk standards, and internal policies.
Education & Experience

Required

  • Associate Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test management practices.
  • Experience leading or mentoring QA professionals and supporting team development.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira, Xray, and software testing methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Preferred

  • 6+ years of experience managing QA teams in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Advanced experience with Atlassian Confluence, Jira, and Xray tools.
  • Experience supporting system integration and regulatory compliance testing.
  • ISTQB CTAL-TM certification or equivalent certification.
