What to Expect

As the Global Training Program Manager, you will serve as a critical bridge between our Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S) department and the software development team of the Tesla learning management system. You will be responsible for project managing the optimization of training tools and platforms on behalf of the EHS&S department, project leading cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable analytics and infrastructure that advances global training compliance, governance, and excellence. This position requires a strategic thinker who can govern content creation standards while ensuring technological solutions meet operational needs. You will project lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our global training programs. Expect to collaborate closely with subject matter experts and developers to innovate how compliance knowledge is disseminated, tracked, and reported. Your work will directly impact our ability to maintain high standards of safety and security across all regions. We are looking for a candidate who leverages emerging technologies to manage complex projects and drive continuous improvement in our training ecosystem. You will be empowered to make decisions that streamline processes and elevate the stakeholder experience.


What You'll Do
  • Act as the primary liaison between the EHS&S department and the software development team managing training platforms
  • Govern global content creation standard practices to ensure consistency and compliance across all training materials
  • Lead projects and initiatives identified as globally needed by trainers and training content creators within the department
  • Manage the lifecycle of training software requirements from conception through deployment and user adoption
  • Collaborate with regional training leads to identify gaps and opportunities for program improvement
  • Develop metrics and reporting structures to measure the effectiveness of global training initiatives
  • Facilitate communication channels between technical developers and functional safety experts to align on priorities

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Experience in training program management or instructional design preferred
  • Proven track record of managing projects across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Understanding of learning management systems and software development lifecycles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders
  • Basic knowledge of Environmental, Health, Safety, or Security compliance preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to govern standards and drive adoption of best practices

    Expected Compensation
    $108,000 - $198,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
