Job: Pine Mountain- Engineering Services Apprentice/Operator

We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic apprentice to join our Engineering Maintenance team. The apprentice's responsibilities include learning and developing practical skills, participating in classes and workshops on and offsite, observing all health and safety codes, completing tests and assignments. You should be well-organized, flexible, and shadow teammates.

To be successful as an apprentice, you must have great time management skills and be willing to fit into the existing staff structure. Outstanding apprentices are those who respond well to criticism, build good relationships with colleagues, and make a lasting impression.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform audits.
  • Shadow associates to learn aspects of each position.
  • Participate in safety activities.
  • Data entry and paperwork completion.
  • Equipment setup and breakdown.
  • Data entry and documentation of work completed.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies.
  • Learn and apply foundational technical concepts under supervision.
  • Observe and assist in diagnosing basic technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in training sessions and skill-building activities.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Completing all tests, presentations, and other required evaluations.
  • Attend workshops and participating in as many learning opportunities as possible.
  • Observing health and safety procedures.

  • Building professional relationships with co-workers and staff.

Apprentice Requirements:

  • Senior in High school.
  • Enrolled in industrial maintenance or equivalent.
  • Good physical strength and hand-eye coordination may be required.
  • Good time management, critical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • A growth mindset and passion for learning.
