UAT Business Analyst - Compliance & Risk

Genesis10 is currently seeking a UAT Senior Business Analyst for a Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.

The Senior Business Analyst will lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for Regulatory Change Management (RCM) connectivity initiatives across integrated systems. This role is responsible for authoring test scripts, coordinating testing, managing Compliance data, and partnering with Business and Technology teams to ensure high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in banking, risk, and compliance systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and author detailed UAT test cases and test scripts based on business and functional requirements
• Ensure end-to-end traceability by mapping business requirements to UAT test scenarios
• Design test coverage across system integration, functional, and regression testing
• Manage and track UAT execution progress to ensure milestones are met
• Coordinate with IT, business stakeholders, and Operations to triage, prioritize, and resolve UAT defects
• Assist with gathering, structuring, and analyzing relevant data from various sources
• Leverage data analysis techniques to analyze large amounts of data to identify issues as part of testing

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience leading UAT activities in the banking industry, with expertise in authoring UAT test scripts and managing end-to-end UAT execution
• Experience with Reg Change Management, Risk, and Compliance platforms and system integrations
• Proven experience supporting system integrations and connectivity testing across multiple platforms
• SME knowledge of System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional Testing, and Regression Testing processes
• Experience with Databricks or similar middleware/integration platforms
• Demonstrated expertise in requirements mapping, traceability, and impact analysis
• Previous experience in testing AI-driven automation
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of JIRA and other testing platforms for defect tracking
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired skills:

• Prior PowerBI reporting experience

Pay range: up to $48.18 per hour
