Position Description: Build overall sales and marketing strategy, client presentations, develop sales pipeline, and close new sales for a specific line(s) of coverage within specific insurance area, with all client accounts wholly owned by Turner Surety Insurance Brokerage (TSIB). Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities: Apply knowledge and experience of insurance strategy, capability, and service delivery to optimize business sales results, customer experiences and client retention. Drive business results and sales success to achieve annual revenue objectives as established by management. Show consistent activity, persistence, and commitment to solve business problems and ensure solutions align with client objectives and to achieve highest level of service and value for clients' experience. Expand network and use consultative sales approach to hunt and qualify new clients and expand service lines to existing clients. Build active pipeline of qualified prospects, generate leads from networked contacts, external centers of influence, client referrals, internal staff, and external marketing sources. Research and understand specific insurance industry trends, product development, and government regulations, such as Federal and state legislation and legal issues. Collaborate with Marketing department to develop new sales materials based on client feedback and sales experience. Establish and independently develop and maintain client relationships to maintain renewal client business at stipulated levels. Facilitate the hand-off of new Clients to Account Executive and Client Service Team. Develop and maintain dependable working relationships with insurance carriers, broker servicing networks (e.g., General Agencies (G.A.s)), and other providers (such as Third-party Administrators). Apply strong organizational skills to manage multiple and concurrent projects, priorities, and tasks. Lead client work, manage book of business, and take ownership of deliverables, projects, and client service team. Secure, collaborate, and manage work of internal team to support business activities and deliverables that contribute to overall client and prospect project success, and seamlessly coordinate hand-off of new clients to service team. Lead client meetings and assess risk for client insurance lifecycle. Understand, anticipate, and manage client and stakeholder needs and expectations to develop and deliver high-quality, impactful, relevant, and innovative client solutions. Provide strategic planning and consulting advice to clients to influence client strategic and tactical direction, and decision making. Manage production of Requests for Proposal (RFP) responses. Coordinate vendor responses, conduct analysis and comparison of RFP responses, and prepare reports with recommendations aligned with client objectives and in support of client retention. Manage multiple and concurrent projects, priorities, and tasks, and collaborate with teams, while efficiently organizing work and managing time to meet deadlines. Foster collaboration and diversity of thought by mentoring, providing support, guidance, and training to staff. Continually document activity, notes, and prospect data in appropriate company client management system. Work independently with a high level of autonomy. May supervise staff and/or deliver or contribute to performance feedback. Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
Producer Property & Casualty Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities: Independently develop overall sales and marketing strategy and client presentations. Independently identify potential clients, qualify leads, develop and make sales presentations to clients with goal of closing a stipulated number of sales per quarter to grow TSIB revenue. Leverage or modify the brokerage's product offerings to meet client needs; develop new product offerings; work with insurance markets to identify and leverage product trends to grow TSIB's client roster.
Producer Life & Health Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities: Maintain general knowledge of laws and regulations impacting administration of clients' benefits programs and advise clients' accordingly. Maintain knowledge of and properly handle HIPPA and Personal Identification Inforamtion (PII) data aligned with company, Federal, and State laws and regulations. Support management of clients' benefits programs including Open Enrollment, Employee Plan Changes, and general communications with clients and their respective employees. Research and understand specific insurance industry trends, product development, and government regulations, such as Federal and state legislation and legal issues related to Life & Health insurance industry's benefits compliance. |

- High School Diploma/GED required, 2 or more years of college credits or Associates Degree, preferred, Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related program, desired, with minimum of 3 years insurance consultative sales experience and/or employee benefits and group benefits experience, desired for Producer Life & Health position, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
Agent/Broker's license required for all states in which business is transacted Must have and maintain required licenses/credentials consecutively without lapse CPCU, ARM, CEBS, CRIS, CRIC, CIC, or similar insurance designation, desired Possess strong working knowledge of insurance services, programs, and elements of marketing lines of coverage, required Ability to demonstrate proven sales success Proven successful pipeline generation and conversion experience Experience selling to and building relationships with business owners and C-Suite executive level customers Thorough understanding of insurance marketplace with ability to develop marketing strategies to secure client business Assertive with ability to develop relationships and trust with new clients Ability to work cooperatively with staff, external resources, clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters to meet client's coverage needs Highly organized and motivated self-starter who can identify and target markets and clients Develop and deliver high quality sales presentations and ability to close the sale Deadline oriented and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Proficient computer skills and Microsoft suite of applications (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), accurate data entry within company's Agency Management Software, and aptitude to learn new software applications Travel required based on client and business needs
