TEKsystems is partnering with a top client in the financial services industry to hire Customer Service Representatives for a direct placement opportunity in West Des Moines. This role offers the opportunity to work one day remotely after completing training. Position Overview As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, agents, and financial professionals. You'll handle a high volume of inbound calls, ranging from basic account questions to more complex, market-sensitive inquiries. This role offers extensive training and long-term career growth within a stable and reputable organization. Key Responsibilities * Handle approximately 45-55 inbound calls per day, addressing a variety of customer needs * Respond to inquiries from agents, policyholders, and third parties with accuracy and professionalism * Provide comprehensive support on financial products, including: * Product features and changes * Tax implications and state regulations * Claims and policy details * Explain policy information such as beneficiary designations, account values, and contract terms * Process transactions, including: * Address and beneficiary updates * Ownership changes * Partial withdrawals and replacements * Accurately document all interactions and ensure appropriate resolution * Communicate with customers via multiple channels and proactively identify solutions * Participate in ongoing training to stay current on products, systems, and policies Qualifications * 1+ year of customer service experience required (call center experience preferred) * Ability to manage a high-volume call environment while maintaining quality standards * Strong multitasking skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts * Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and retain detailed information * Reliable attendance and punctuality Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of West Des Moines, IA.
