Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Plymouth MA

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate Must Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

As a Security Officer in Plymouth, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, traffic-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while preparing accurate activity and incident reports.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of roadways, facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing locations, verifying authorized access and reporting suspicious, unauthorized, and/or disruptive behavior to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support coordination with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders during incidents, special events, severe weather, and other operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
