Network Deployment Technician / Junior Network Engineer Overview Faith Technologies is seeking two Network Deployment Technicians / Junior Network Engineers to support a surge of new facility buildouts and network deployments across the U.S. This is a hands-on, field-focused role ideal for individuals who enjoy working directly with network hardware, executing deployments, and bringing new environments online from the ground up. What You'll Do As part of the network deployment team, you will play a critical role in building and launching new network environments. Responsibilities include: * Support network deployments for new facilities, branch offices, and job sites nationwide * Perform rack & stack, structured cabling, labeling, and physical installation of equipment in MDF/IDF environments * Apply and update pre-configured network settings via CLI and GUI interfaces * Install, configure, and deploy: * Cisco switches and routing equipment * Wireless access points * Firewalls and SD-WAN devices * Assist with ISP circuit turn-ups and ensure site connectivity readiness * Conduct onsite installation, validation, and go-live testing * Perform basic troubleshooting of network and hardware issues during deployment activities * Collaborate with the network engineering team for guidance and escalation support * Assist with hardware staging, inventory, and preparation Required Skills & Experience * Hands-on experience with network deployments and infrastructure setup * Strong understanding of: * Networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routing, switching) * Network hardware installation and cabling * Experience working with: * Cisco networking equipment * Firewalls and wireless technologies * Familiarity with CLI and GUI-based configuration tools * Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues in real time Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting multi-site deployments or large-scale rollouts * Exposure to SD-WAN technologies * Prior work in field-based or onsite network implementation roles * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized deployment processes What Makes This Role Stand Out * Opportunity to build networks from the ground up * High visibility work impacting new site launches across the country * Collaborative team environment with direct support from experienced network engineers * Ideal for candidates who prefer hands-on technical work over desk-based engineering Experience Level * Intermediate (Level II) * 2+ years of relevant network deployment or infrastructure experience preferred Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Menasha, WI.
