Category PET Tech Position Type Regular Full-Time Large provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. Company manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year. Our PET/CT Technologists perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment, such as PET scanners, to create images of the body's internal functions and structures. The technologist must also be certified to perform dedicated CT exams. Key responsibilities include preparing and administering radioactive drugs to patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining equipment and radiation safety protocols. *May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
