Position summary:

The Lead Corrosion Technician will safely perform and Lead repairs, maintenance, inspections, survey and installation of corrosion prevention equipment for natural gas pipeline system. This job also will require assisting the Supervisors on forecasting budgets.

Pay Range: $39.98 - $60.02 per hour (This posting includes the full pay range for this position. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.)

Reporting Relationship: Measurement & Corrosion Manager

Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas

Essential Functions:
* Provide work direction to up to 8 Corrosion Technicians.
* Responsible for Cathodic Protection training, monitoring, design, testing, installation and troubleshooting for distribution and or transmission systems.
* Responsible for local implementation of the Gas Technical Services operation plan and O & M standards.
* Assistance with budgets/operating plans with Supervisors in all locations.
* Assistance with regulatory audits (internal and external), and Safety procedures.
* Assist the local Supervisors in planning and work schedule of Corrosion Techs and contractors for completion of workload.
* Normally works independently in an assigned area where judgment and discretion are required on a regular basis and provide accurate documentation.
* This position is a working lead and requires regular corrosion tech duties as well leading the techs.

Additional Responsibilities:
* Requires successful partnership with local network/field services groups to meet standards/expectations.

What Is Required:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 5 or years of prior corrosion control experience.

What Is Desired:
* Demonstrated Cathodic Protection expertise.
* Work well in a team environment and ability to lead others with direction from Supervisors.
* Ability to assist in budgeting.
* Ability to provide leadership to others and report back to Supervisors with clear communication.
* Ability to pass and perform all related Operator Qualifications.
