CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Reliability Engineer to join our Asset Management Team in Albany, NY. In this role, you will help transform how facilities operate by advancing reliability-centered maintenance approaches, optimizing asset lifecycle performance, and strengthening the systems that keep operations running efficiently. Provide advanced judgment and analytical expertise to support complex asset reliability strategies, technical assessments, specifications, and contract documentation for manufacturing and industrial systems
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of reliability and asset management initiatives with cross-functional engineering teams and project management staff
• Monitor asset performance, system reliability, and project execution to drive operational efficiency and reduce unplanned downtime across critical facilities
• Deliver reliability and asset management solutions within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting cost-effective, sustainable, and high-performing operations
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff, supporting the development of asset management best practices and reliability-focused methodologies

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

• Drive high-impact asset management and reliability initiatives that enhance performance across advanced manufacturing environments
• Partner with leading clients in sectors such as semiconductors, biotech, pharmaceuticals, and clean manufacturing
• Support and mentor engineers in applying reliability-focused and lifecycle management best practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a flexible environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
