About the Role

Culmen Internationa is hiring a Pharmacology SME for Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Center for Infectious Disease Research (CIDR), Small Molecule Discover and Development Team.



What You'll Do in Your New Role

    Provide expert knowledge of in vivo studies, to include but not limited to pharmacokinetics studies and toxicity.
  • Compare clinical practice guidelines to the current and future military relevant medical threats to define gaps and harmonize Discovery and Development data while advancing effective clinical trials to achieve solutions.
  • Support the Army Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship and train the next generation of medical product developers.
  • Have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication.
  • Experience publishing scientific papers in a peer reviewed recognized journals and/or patents and/or submitting pre-proposals and/or proposals for internal or external funding


Required Qualifications

  • MD, DO, or PhD in life sciences; certification from American Board of Clinical Pharmacology (ABCP)
  • 10+ years post-graduate experience; 5+ years research experience; 5+ years clinincal pharmacology experience
