A Brief Overview The Senior Manager for Value Based Care will manage Primary Care value-based care programs requiring coordination across clinical and practice operations, quality, data and reporting, information systems, legal and contracting teams. This role is responsible for the administration, direction, coordination and evaluation of the activities related to value-based care programs, revenue improvement opportunities through quality initiatives from payors and the implementation and maintenance of NCQA's medical home recognition for all Primary Care sites. The role requires superb analytical skills, an advanced understanding of practice operations is required.
What you will do
- Oversees value based care program development and management
- Identifies and leads program development needs and coordinates Primary Care and other resources, i.e. Clinical, Operational, IS, Data and Analytics, etc. to implement policies, activities and tools.
- Maintains working relationship with NCQA's Medical Home program
- Oversees NCQA survey process and submission
- Continually assess external environment, value-based contracting activities and implications for CHOP, including analyzing and preparing information to facilitate decision-making
- Leads the development, definition and implementation of program outcome measures along with ongoing reporting and monitoring processes to continually assess program effectiveness, identify areas of over- and under-utilization in specific populations and identify opportunity for program improvement.
- Tracks revenue opportunities and improvement activities as they relate to quality initiatives from Payors
- Represents Primary Care Network in enterprise-wide steering groups to ensure effective value-based care program integration and coordination
- Drives organizational transformation by leading or participating in the the planning and implementation of improvement efforts throughout the Primary Care network.
- Identifies national and internal best practices and creates benchmarking analyses for comparison with external organizations
- Identifies and acts on opportunities for improvement
- Assists clinicians, clinical leaders and administrators to manage and understand improvement measures, performance dashboards and score cards and to use data analysis to drive fact-based decision making.
- Participates in management of quality metrics and supports practices in achieving targets and objectives
- Leads efforts to improve realization of value-based revenue
- Supervises value-based care data coordinator and ensures integration of activities into Care Network practices
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
- Master's Degree Health Care Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field - Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least seven (7) years healthcare experience - Required
- At least three (3) years experience in health care management, population health or public health. - Required
- At least ten (10) years healthcare experience - Preferred
- At least five (5) years previous management/supervisory experience - Preferred
- Experience working in an academic health system or integrated healthcare delivery system - Preferred
- Regulatory and contractual requirement management experience - Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- JCAHO, DOH, and other regulatory knowledge - Preferred

$115,060.00 - $152,450.00 Annually
