Schedule: M - F; 9am - 5pm ET

Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000

Position Overview:

The Assistant Vice President, Product is a senior product leadership role embedded inVibrant'sH2H (Human-to-Human) Pod, responsible for driving the product strategy and execution forVibrant'sdirect service platforms and partner-facing digital products. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this leader will own the end-to-end product lifecycle - from discovery and roadmap prioritization to delivery and measurement - for one of the most mission-critical technology portfolios in behavioral health. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that requires a rare combination of strategic product thinking, stakeholder management at scale, and deep empathy for the communities our technology serves.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the product strategy and multi-year roadmap for the H2H Pod, aligning closely with CTO, Engineering, and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Lead a team of product managers, providing mentorship, direction, and a culture of rigorous product thinking and user-centeredness.
  • Translate mission priorities and partner needs into clearly defined product requirements, OKRs, and delivery milestones.
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to ensure agile, iterative delivery against roadmap commitments.
  • Serve as the primaryproductvoice in executive conversations, board presentations, and federal partner engagements.
  • Define and govern product metrics frameworks - ensuring outcomes are measurable and tied to crisis services impact.
  • Drive vendor and platform evaluation decisions in collaboration with Enterprise IT and Dataleadership.
  • Champion accessibility, equity, and trauma-informed design principles across all product initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Executive-level experience defining and executing product strategy for complex, mission-critical digital platforms
  • Deep expertise in product management methodologies, including agile development, roadmap planning, user research, and metrics-driven decision-making
  • Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing product teams, fostering a culture of user-centered design and continuous improvement
  • Strong ability to translate mission priorities, stakeholder needs, and user insights into clear product requirements, OKRs, and delivery plans
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering, data, and design teams to deliver iterative, high-quality products at scale
  • Demonstrated ability to define and operationalize product metrics frameworks tied to user outcomes and service impact
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, including vendor evaluation, platform selection, and resource prioritization
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, cross-functional leaders, and external partners, including government entities
  • Experience preparing and delivering executive- and Board-level presentations on product strategy, performance, and roadmap
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and organizational priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated commitment to accessibility, equity, and trauma-informed design principles in product development
  • Demonstrated commitment to building inclusive, empowered, and high-performing teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive product management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior product leadership role (Director, AVP, or VP level) reporting to a Chief or VP-level leader
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in mission-driven, nonprofit, healthcare, government, or similarly highly regulated environments strongly preferred
  • Proven success managing enterprise-scale digital products supporting frontline service providers or vulnerable populations
  • Experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives, with accountability for execution, performance management, and delivery against KPIs and strategic priorities
  • Strong operational and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, using data to drive decisions, and operating within complex, government-adjacent or federally funded environments preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Will frequently communicate over video calls with internal and external stakeholders to provide status updates and potential roadblocks.

The range listed reflects the compensation parameters for the role and does not represent the full compensation package.
