As a Housekeeperyou will uphold a conscientious, thorough, self-motivatedday-to-day mindset. Youareresponsible for maintaininga clean and healthy patient care environment that will surely evoke smiles and thankyou'sfrom patients and staff alike. In order touphold a sanitary,safeand risk-freeenvironmentyouwill work within OSHA regulations. You will alsoberesponsible forresponding toad-hoc requests in a timely mannerand initiating communication bywalkie-talkies.

Contributions to TeamSuccess (Job Duties/Responsibilities)

• Maintain assigned areas such as, but not limitedto: patient rooms,common areason and off the units, waiting areas,hallwaysand business offices

• Clean andmaintaincarts and equipment used, replenishing supplies, collecting waste, sanitizing garbage receptacles

• Disinfect rooms, furniture, equipment and supplies, usingappropriate processesand germicides for cleaning equipment

• Perform otherHousekeepingduties, turn mattresses, clean unit/department kitchenettes, sweep, mop as needed

• Work efficiently and effectively under little supervision

What we need from you!

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 1 year of hospital or hotel environmental service techniques, practices and procedures experience preferred

• Working knowledge of risk and safety precautions
• Ability to prioritizeand organizedaily workloads to meet deadlines

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Sensitivity and awareness of diverse groups of employees and patients

• Maintain confidentiality
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, pull, push, kneel and stoop throughout shift; must be able to lift at most 30lbs on own
