Requirements:

• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS
• Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Antepartum, Antihypertensives, Bladder Distension, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Car Seat Education, Cesarean Section, Cord Care, Couplet Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Drawing Venous Blood, Epidural Anesthesia, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Infant Identification, Isolation Precautions/PPE, LDRP, Anticoagulation therapy, Antiseizure, Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Baby friendly protocols, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, High Risk Antepartum, NST (Non Stress Tests), Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Metabolic Screen, Mother/Baby, Multiple Births, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonatal Resuscitation, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Phototherapy, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pre-eclampsia / eclampsia, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Pitocin (oxytocin), Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of PCA (IV), Starting and maintaining IVs, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation, Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Vaccine Administration, Vaginal Delivery, Wound assessment/care
