TITLE: Mail Services Clerk DEPARTMENT: Property STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt PAT RATE: $17.50 an hour MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * One year of mail operations experience preferred Note: Applicants must be at least 21 years of age due to the driving responsibilities associated with the position ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Sort and distribute internal and incoming mail to the Departments 2. Deliver FedEx, DHL and UPS packages as they arrive 3. Process USPS bulk mail, business mail and express mail 4. Have postage meter verified every six months by Postmaster 5. Maintain records of incoming registered, insured and certified mail 6. Clean and maintain mailroom equipment; contact service when repairs are needed 7. Become familiar with THQ Organization set-up and all changes as they occur 8.
