What to Expect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design and scale the data and automation backbone of our Global Training Programs & Analytics function.

As the organization implements globally standardize training practices, this role ensures that training operations are measurable, reliable, and automated across all sites. You will build the systems that connect Learning Management Systems (LMS), operational platforms, workflow tools, and business applications into a single, trusted data ecosystem that enables consistent visibility into onboarding, compliance, training execution, and workforce readiness.

You will design and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and reporting solutions that eliminate manual tracking and provide accurate, timely insights into training performance and operational effectiveness. Your work will directly enable leaders and Training Partners to understand how training is progressing across the organization and where improvements are needed.

A key part of this role is building and improving automated workflows that reduce manual effort and increase the speed, accuracy, and scalability of training operations. You will also support the introduction of AI-enabled capabilities where they enhance automation, reporting, and decision-making - with a focus on practical application and operational value.

This is a Data Engineering role at its core, applied to a global training operations environment, with a strong emphasis on integration, automation, and scalable analytics.

What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes integrating LMS, workflow tools, operational systems, and business applications into centralized reporting environments
  • Ensure data quality, governance, validation, and monitoring standards across all data systems and integrations
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting solutions, and KPIs using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for onboarding, training completion, compliance, adoption, and workforce readiness
  • Translate operational requirements into clear, scalable reporting solutions that provide accurate, timely insights for operational reviews and leadership visibility
  • Design automated workflows and alerting mechanisms that reduce manual effort, track delays and risks, and identify compliance gaps in training operations
  • Support AI-enabled enhancements that improve reporting, insight generation, decision support, and the evolution from manual to automated analytics
  • Improve system integrations and process automation using APIs, webhooks, and automation tooling
  • Enhance usability and adoption of reporting tools across global stakeholder groups
  • Partner with Training Partners, Program Managers, and Operations teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Serve as technical advisor on data, reporting, and automation opportunities to continuously improve training operations through data and technology

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Business Intelligence Engineering
  • Strong SQL skills (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)
  • Strong Python skills for automation, APIs, and data processing
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data models
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
  • Experience integrating systems via APIs, webhooks, or automation platforms
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Microsoft Fabric, or similar)
  • Experience supporting workflow automation tools (Power Automate, Airflow, UiPath, etc.)
  • Experience with multiple data architecture paradigms (e.g. MySQL, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Hadoop, Hbase, Spark, ClickHouse)
  • Proficiency in Python for data engineering, automation, and analysis. Knowledge of ETL orchestration tools like Airflow and data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI
