Sr. Project Manager, Emerging Technologies

About the Role

At TD SYNNEX, we're investing in the future of intelligent automation, AI, robotics, and emerging technologies - and we're looking for a strong program leader to help bring new ventures to life.

As a Sr. Project Manager, Emerging Technologies, you'll lead high-impact programs that support the development, launch, and scaling of new businesses within the TD SYNNEX portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building structure around new ideas, and can bring together cross-functional teams across Sales, Services, Marketing, Legal, HR, Partner Alliances, Operations, IT, and Engineering to move complex initiatives forward.

You'll play a key role in turning emerging technology concepts into executable programs, helping align strategy, roadmap priorities, stakeholders, timelines, risks, and business outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Manage complex cross-functional programs focused on building and scaling new ventures within the TD SYNNEX portfolio, partnering closely with Sales, Services, Marketing, Legal, HR, Partner Alliances, Operations, IT, Engineering, and other business leaders to drive successful execution.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI, robotics, automation, and emerging technology initiatives with significant operational and business impact.
  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects within the Emerging Technologies program, including cross-project dependencies, shared resources, sequencing decisions, and delivery priorities.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps that balance near-term execution with long-term strategic objectives.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, budgets, and stakeholder commitments.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across workstreams, ensuring teams stay aligned, accountable, and focused on outcomes.
  • Lead program-level governance, including executive updates, steering committee materials, integrated reporting, decision tracking, and benefits realization.
  • Partner with technical, operational, and business teams to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and successfully adopted.
  • Manage interdependencies between internal teams, vendors, partners, and business stakeholders, resolving conflicts in scope, timing, priorities, or resourcing.
  • Bring structure, momentum, and clarity to fast-moving initiatives where the path forward is still being defined.

Requirements for the Role

  • 5+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years managing concurrent projects or program-level scope.
  • PMP certification in good standing required; PMP or demonstrated program management experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and executive visibility.
  • Demonstrated experience applying PMI/PMBOK frameworks in practice, including integration management, stakeholder analysis, risk management, governance, and performance tracking.
  • Experience leading program governance, including executive updates, steering committees, integrated reporting, and decision-making forums.
  • Strong ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and keep business, technical, and executive stakeholders aligned.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through, with a focus on execution and measurable results.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, building structure around new initiatives, and adapting as priorities evolve.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Services, Marketing, Legal, HR, Partner Alliances, Operations, Engineering, IT, or similar business functions.
  • Experience supporting automation, robotics, AI-driven initiatives, emerging technologies, or large-scale transformation programs preferred.

What Will Make You Successful

  • You are energized by building something new and creating structure where none exists yet.
  • You can move between strategic conversations and detailed execution without losing momentum.
  • You know how to bring the right stakeholders together, clarify decisions, and keep progress moving.
  • You are comfortable working in a high-visibility environment where priorities may evolve as the business grows.
  • You bring strong business acumen, technical curiosity, and the ability to connect program execution to meaningful business impact.
