At Parker, our team members belong, matter and make a difference. JOB POSTINGS This Maintenance Technician position will focus on crib management. The individual selected must have experience in managing a crib, inventorying and ordering of parts, maintaining organizational control of the crib area, setting part ordering min and max limits. The ability to communicate with vendors and internal customers in a professional and effective manner is a must. This position will require the individual selected to be able to multitask in order to maintain proper crib management at both Danville, Parker Facilities. Having previous experience in starting up a crib area would be a plus. The ideal candidate for this role will also have experience in the maintenance field, enabling the individual to be able to communicate effectively with other maintenance technicians. The Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains assigned manufacturing related equipment throughout the facility in accordance with standard procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies. Performs a wide variety of skilled work across multiple-functions and operations of the preventive maintenance system. Job Core Responsibilities * Maintenance Technicians will be required to perform pipefitting, mechanical maintenance and electrical activities including the installation and repair of all piping systems (air, water, natural gas, process gasses), valves, pumps, vacuum pumps, compressors, plant electrical service and distribution systems, switchgear, motor control centers, PLC's, cabling, conduit, wire terminations, etc..., throughout the facility. The maintenance technician must be able to read engineering and machine drawings, troubleshoot equipment and process problems, and make necessary repairs to correct the defective operation and/or condition. * Maintenance Technicians must become familiar with all tasks which are required in the daily operation of the production facility. The individual must be able to perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner following all Meggitt safety protocols. Maintenance Technicians may be required to operate pre-form equipment; CVI and heat treat furnaces, CNC machining equipment, material handling equipment including hoists and cranes, tow motors, pallet trucks, and other miscellaneous machinery. Although their primary duty is maintenance of the facility and equipment, they may be called upon to assist with plant production and perform duties normally done by production associates. * Maintenance Technicians will be required to comprehend and accurately follow specific detailed operational instructions and prints for job and setup operations. They may also be required to document specific detailed instructions and procedures. They must be able to follow specific quality criteria to maintain quality system requirements including monitoring, measuring, and recording quality assurance data including, but not limited to, dimensions, weight, or other specific information. * Maintenance Technicians must be familiar with the use and care of calipers, depth gages, micrometers, and other measuring and test equipment as required in the performance of job responsibilities. They must be able to correctly and accurately utilize computers and the appropriate software programs, including CMMS, in the performance of their job responsibilities. * Maintenance Technicians must be self-directed and flexible in the performance of job duties. They must be able to communicate information, as required, to all other individuals involved in the normal operation of the facility. They must be willing to work in teams for daily production and improvement opportunities. In addition, they must be able to perform receiving, packing, and shipping duties as assigned. They will also be required to perform plant housekeeping duties as necessary to maintain a safe and clean work environment. * Maintenance Technicians will be trained MABS-KY's hazardous waste management program. * Maintenance associates will be responsible for the quality of work performed and held accountable for observing safe work practices and maintaining a safe and clean work area. Work environment will consist of dust, fillings, chips, heat, and noise in the normal performance of their duties. Job Specifications Education: High School Diploma is required and a preferred associate degree in a Maintenance related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations. Extensive Experience in Crib Management would be consideration in the hiring of this position as an alternate to other job-related skills. Skills:
