The ideal candidate is a hands-on Azure Cloud Engineer with strong operational experience, a structured approach to troubleshooting, and a solid understanding of secure, reliable, and well-governed cloud environments. Additional experience with on-premises infrastructure is a plus and will be valuable in supporting our hybrid IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Engineering & Operations

  • Design, operate, and continuously improve Microsoft Azure services across infrastructure, networking, security, monitoring, governance, and cost management.
  • Support Azure compute, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, security, and identity integration.
  • Troubleshoot Azure-related incidents, performance issues, and service disruptions, providing 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Contribute to automation, infrastructure as code, modernization, hybrid cloud, and Azure best-practice initiatives.
  • Support secure and reliable integration between Azure and on-premises environments.
  • Maintain cloud documentation, including configurations, procedures, standards, and troubleshooting guides.

Additional Infrastructure Responsibilities

  • Support Windows and Linux server environments where required.
  • Assist with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and Nutanix.
  • Support backup, restore, monitoring, patching, lifecycle management, and capacity planning activities.
  • Assist with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related Windows services.

Required Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in cloud engineering, IT infrastructure, or systems engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud operations.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing Azure environments.
  • Good understanding of hybrid cloud environments and cloud connectivity.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud, identity, networking, monitoring, and infrastructure-related topics.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across global IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, or other automation tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, or hybrid Microsoft environments.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, or Nutanix Prism.
  • Knowledge of backup, restore, monitoring, patching, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
  • Network knowledge, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and Azure networking.
