Shape the Future of Community Engagement in Autonomous Transportation

Step into a pivotal role where your expertise will directly influence the successful integration of cutting-edge transportation technology into communities. As a key player in public affairs, you will craft and execute strategies that build trust, foster strong relationships, and pave the way for a revolutionary service. Your work will directly impact market development, community acceptance, and the overall success of bringing autonomous transportation to the public. If you are a natural connector with a deep understanding of local dynamics and a passion for making a tangible difference, this is your opportunity to lead and inspire.

What You'll Do:

* Play a critical role in developing regional public affairs strategies across a diverse portfolio of markets, meticulously assessing community conditions and political landscapes to tailor engagement approaches at every stage of market development.

* Collaborate closely with in-market consultants to devise comprehensive market plans and drive their successful execution to achieve strategic goals.

* Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with senior community stakeholders, including civic leaders, neighborhood associations, coalition partners, and influential non-elected individuals within your assigned markets.

* Contribute to powermapping initiatives in coordination with internal teams and consultants, pinpointing key advocates and strategic opportunities within your regions.

* Help oversee the conceptualization and implementation of impactful community activations and events, ensuring each initiative directly supports market-specific objectives.

* Identify, nurture, and mobilize local advocates who will champion the mission and vision of our client.

* Work seamlessly across various internal teams, including policy, operations, and communications, to ensure community engagement efforts are perfectly aligned with business priorities and regulatory timelines.

* Provide regular, insightful intelligence briefs to management, covering community sentiment, political shifts, and emerging risks or opportunities across your region.

What You'll Bring:

* Bachelor's degree preferred with 8 to 10 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, community organizing, or a related field.

* Demonstrated experience supporting and coordinating effectively with external consultants or agencies, as well as navigating complex cross-functional teams.

* Exceptional political and community instincts, coupled with a proven track record of successfully operating within intricate, multi-stakeholder environments.

* A strong ability to work autonomously across multiple markets while maintaining tight alignment and coordination with a central team.

* Highly persuasive communication skills, enabling you to confidently represent the company in community meetings, civic hearings, and high-level stakeholder discussions.

* Experience within technology, transportation, or other highly regulated industries.
