The salary range for this position is $290,000 to $341,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity.

Mass General Brigham Pathology is seeking an AP/CP board-certified Pathologist to join Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts. This is a strong fit for a collaborative pathologist who enjoys broad community practice, independent diagnostic work, and access to a larger academic and clinical network when needed.

Practice Snapshot

Cooley Dickinson is a 140-bed, non-profit community hospital with a close-knit pathology team. You will share AP and CP responsibilities with two other pathologists in a supportive, collegial environment.

The practice offers a diverse community hospital case mix with no autopsy burden and minimal frozen sections.

  • Annual volume: ~12,000 surgical pathology cases, ~5,800 Pap tests, and ~1,300 non-GYN cytologies.
  • Lab volume: ~1,000,000 laboratory tests annually.
  • Case mix: GI, GYN, breast, skin, and general surgical pathology cases.
  • ROSE: Active Interventional Radiology service with ~400 rapid onsite evaluations annually.

Qualifications

  • Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology.
  • Broad community pathology skills and comfort with independent practice.
