McWane Poles Maintenance Technician

Hiring for weekend shifts for our McWane Pole Division.

Must be available to work 3 12-hour shifts Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Day shift and Graveyard shift available

$29.17 - $35.66 to start DOE

Work Environment: Loud industrial manufacturing environment. Work can be both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to both cold/hot additional exposure is dirt, dust, fumes, chemicals. Specialized PPE is required.

Physical Demands: Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, stooping, and standing for long periods of time. Carrying up to 40 pounds.

A post offer/pre-employment physical and drug screening and background check will be required.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of electrical systems (up to 480V)
  • Familiar with PLCs and troubleshooting control systems
  • Proficient in mechanical systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors
  • Welding, cutting, and fabrication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
