Environmental Engineer 4

At Lam, as an Environmental Engineer, you're instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies. Ensuring compliance with regulations, you'll perform safety inspections, conduct trainings, and oversee hazardous waste vendors and processes. Your expertise spans to life safety, workplace ergonomics, and monitoring industrial health compliance. Acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies you'll not only stay current but also reinforce Lam's commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

This role in the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)teamis responsible forimplementingtheenvironmental programsfor all media andspecialty areas(air, water, waste, sustainability)at Lam Research'sTualatin, Oregonlocation.

The Environmental Engineerisresponsible forthe compliance and continual improvement of environmental programs forTualatinLamsite, applying and implementing requirements from a systematicperspectiveand integrating them into Lam's business culture.This includes management of Lam's environmental regulatory compliance, environmental permits, programs, procedures,policies,and support of ISO14001 registration.This position performs a variety of work to ensure compliance through explanation of permit terms and regulatory obligations, recommendation of appropriate action to assure conformance to current and new regulatory requirements, support of operational activities to minimize pollution, oversee or manage projects,maintain,and improve theEHSmanagement system. Collaborates with all departments andfunctions asnecessaryto ensureeffectiveimplementationofcompliance andTualatinsustainability activities.

Minimum Qualifications -

• Approximately 7-12 years of EHS experience in environmental engineering, environmental science, or environmental management. Semiconductor experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree inenvironmentalengineering, environmental science, orotherrelatedfield.Advanced degreepreferred.
• Strong understanding ofwastewatertreatmentsystemsand air scrubber functions and operations.
• Prior experience with managing air emissions permits, wastewater treatment permits, stormwater management, and waste management.
• KnowledgeofFederal and Oregonenvironmental regulations and requirements.
• Hazard risk assessment experience.
• Must be comfortable working in a laboratory, clean room, and construction environments.

• Professional environmental certifications.
