As a Security Officer Communication / Patrol in Canyon Lake, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol the community by vehicle and on foot, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and attentive service. In this driving post, you will interact with residents and guests, complete routine patrols, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Patrols are often done on a bicycle.

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor property access and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns that could impact the location.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
