Job Description




As a Security Officer Patrol College Qualified in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, customer areas, offices, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, assist with visitor and employee entry procedures, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations according to site expectations.
  • Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directional assistance, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents, patrols, and/or customer interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
