Pathway Health has partnered with The Healthcare Center at Buck Creek to recruit an exceptional leader to oversee the daily operations of its 198-bed long-term care center in Alabaster, Alabama. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to build upon a solid foundation while leading a dedicated team focused on delivering outstanding outcomes for residents and families.

What You'll Do

As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of facility operations, ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for all facility operations.
  • Foster a culture of compassion, accountability, teamwork, and excellence in resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining continuous survey readiness.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes, resident satisfaction, and operational performance.
  • Develop, mentor, and inspire department leaders to achieve organizational goals.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and census growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, referral partners, and community stakeholders to deliver exceptional care.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing workforce.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture that supports employee engagement, accountability, and professional development.
  • Lead successful regulatory surveys and implement continuous process improvement initiatives.


Qualifications


  • Current Alabama Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in good standing, or the ability to obtain licensure upon hire and relocation.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator or in a progressive senior leadership role within long-term care.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is required.
  • Demonstrated success in regulatory compliance, financial management, quality improvement, census development, and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, employees, referral sources, and community partners.
