Job Purpose:

- The Director of Human Resources at HEAVY MACHINES LLC will lead the HR department in developing and implementing strategies that align with the company's goals and values. This role is critical in driving organizational effectiveness, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. The Director will serve as a strategic partner to senior management, providing insights and guidance on human capital management to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's objectives and enhance employee engagement.

- Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.

- Oversee the development and implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.

- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to maintain a harmonious workplace.

- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, updating policies and procedures as necessary.

- Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and develop plans to meet those requirements.

- Analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.

- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a culture of equity and respect.

- Lead performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, and development plans.

- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive and equitable offerings.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR-related matters and organizational development.

Qualifications

Required Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher in Human Resources or Organizational Development is preferred.

Required Experience:

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in human resources management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives.

- Experience in managing a diverse workforce in a manufacturing or heavy industry setting is highly desirable.

- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

Required Skills and Abilities:

- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships at all levels of the company.

- Deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics to drive informed decision-making.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace culture.
