Overview

This role is a senior leader position in the Revenue Operations engine of Microsoft - leading transformation through step change process continuous improvement (CI) and AI automation, at scale and at pace, delivering differentiated value for our customers.

As Senior Director, you will leadone of ourlarge scaleQuote-to-Cashprocess/ segmentareasend to end -settinga multi-year strategy and driving its execution throughaworld-classemployee organization and withoutsourcing partners. You will own operational performance acrossmultiplego to marketrevenueprograms and a multi-billion-dollar revenue engine, influence senior executives across Microsoft andwith yourvendorpartners, and lead a heavy,processcontinuousimprovement and AItransformationalagenda.AI-supported delivery towardscombined human and AI "digital worker" operations thatdriveshigher return on investmentat scale.This is a rareleadershipopportunity to shape frontiersalesoperations for Microsoft, witha clearcareergrowthpathway for the right leader.

Youinfluence forimpact upstreamto simplify downstream workloads- engaging confidently with GM, VP, and CVP stakeholders internally and at executive / CEO level with major outsourcing partners.

You bring strong end-to-end processthinking /insights(Lean / Six Sigmaleadership experienceis an advantage) and know how to sponsor anddrivesustainingstep changecontinuous-improvement outcomes as the business leader who shapes them.Above all, youlead through constant transformational change, create clarity in ambiguity, and attract, grow, and develop exceptional talent.

Strategy & Long-Range Planning

  • Define and own multi-year strategy and long-range plansfor yourquote to cashsalesoperationsfunction, aligned to Microsoft priorities, and translate it into executable operating plans.

  • Shape the future operating model for outsourcedservices transformed through AI- designing foradded customer value,scale, efficiency, compliance, and revenue growth.

AI-LedTransformation &ContinuousImprovement

  • Lead a continuous transformation agenda - evolvingyour organizationfrom human-led, AI-supported delivery toward combined human and AI "digital worker" operations that increasecustomervalue.

  • Sponsorstep-changeend-to-end process improvement (Lean / Six Sigma / Kaizen), shaping outcomes and sustaining results in partnership with the central CI team - as the business leader, not a hands-onCIpractitioner.

Operational Excellence & Vendor Delivery

  • Own day-to-day operational performanceoutcomesacrossmultiple revenue operationsprograms -KPIs /scorecards, delivery, compliance, and service excellence that exceed customer and stakeholder expectations.

  • Manage a world-class outsourced vendor ecosystem - hiring, enabling, and holding global outsourcing partners accountable to execute thesegmentsgo-to-market programsat scale, including executive / CEO-level relationship management.

Executive Stakeholder Engagement

  • Influence for impact across a complex, matrixed organization - engaging and aligning senior stakeholders at GM, VP, and CVP level, andstronglypartnerwithkeysalesand segmentleadershipstakeholders.

  • Representyour organizationas a showcase of Microsoft's frontier, "customer zero" operations transformation.

People Leadership & Talent

  • Build, inspire, and develop a high-performingFrontier Operationsteam of senioroperations leaders.

  • Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and growth mindset, and drive talent development and succession planning.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+years experiencein program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years managementand leadership(e.g., people, project, process, vendor, change) experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+years experiencein program management, process management, or process improvement, ORBachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 15+years experiencein program management, process management, or process improvement, OR equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years people management experience.

  • Experience leading large-scale operations and transformation in a global, matrixed organization - including vendor / BPO ecosystem management at scale and executive stakeholder influence.

  • Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma and AI-enabled operational transformation.

Business Program Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
