Job Description Position Overview: The focus of this role is to learn digitized driver license issuance requirements and applicable state and federal regulations, including REAL ID, Commercial Driver License (CDL), and National Driver Register requirements. The successful candidate will review and analyze secure documents and personal information submitted by driver license applicants. The successful candidate must be able to pass federal fingerprint background checks and conduct themselves professionally with employees and customers. Disciplinary action may be taken for policy infractions. Each candidate must also maintain an active driving record with no current or pending issues. Driving records may be screened periodically for any new concerns. Primary Responsibilities / Required Skills * Must have excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone * Must be task-oriented and a self-starter with strong organizational skills * Prior customer service experience supporting both internal and external customers preferred * Must work effectively in a team environment and assist colleagues as needed * Demonstrate a high level of personal accountability and integrity * Ability to motivate and positively influence others through enthusiasm and professionalism * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse populations * Must be professional, supportive, diplomatic, flexible, and responsible * Ability to learn and utilize driver license issuance systems, accurately interpret driver history records, and enter data with a high degree of accuracy * Must become knowledgeable regarding driver licensing laws, regulations, and policies * Must learn Commercial Driver Licensing laws and licensing processes * Assist applicants by answering questions and addressing concerns related to driver licensing services * Overtime, including evening hours, may be required (up to 5 hours per week) Additional Requirements * Must have and maintain a good driving record * Must possess a valid driver license Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Elizabethtown, KY.
