Your expertise will be instrumental in transforming a legacy platform into a robust and efficient solution, making a tangible difference in daily operations and team delivery timelines.

Are you a skilled developer passionate about transforming critical business systems? We're looking for a talented individual to dive into a pivotal role, modernizing a core internal workflow application that underpins our operational efficiency. This isn't just about writing code; it's about making a tangible difference, enhancing user experience, and driving forward a robust solution that impacts daily operations and team delivery timelines. You'll be at the forefront of this transformation, bringing your expertise to bear on both application logic and database performance, directly contributing to the success of our financial services initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain essential database objects, including stored procedures, tables, views, queries, and data logic, specifically supporting our vital workflow queue application.
  • Support the modernization of a critical web application, implementing targeted updates to application logic, refining data access mechanisms, and enhancing user-facing workflow functionality.
  • Assist with user interface enhancements, focusing on improving the usability, consistency, and overall maintainability of the internal workflow queue.
  • Analyze existing application and database logic to proactively identify gaps, efficiently troubleshoot defects, and recommend practical improvements that align with our modernization goals.
  • Collaborate closely with business partners, product owners, and technical team members to clarify requirements, validate workflow behavior, and ensure successful delivery milestones.
  • Actively participate in comprehensive testing, swift defect resolution, thorough code reviews, deployment readiness activities, and necessary documentation updates throughout the engagement.
  • Communicate progress, potential risks, critical dependencies, and technical considerations clearly and effectively to the project team and relevant stakeholders.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Mid-level hands-on development experience with C# and .NET Framework, with a preference for experience with .NET Framework 4.6 or similar legacy enterprise web applications.
  • Strong database experience, including expertise in writing and troubleshooting stored procedures, managing complex joins, optimizing queries, performing efficient data updates, and developing performance-minded database logic.
  • Proven experience supporting ASP.NET web applications, encompassing application troubleshooting, data access logic, and seamless integration with back-end systems.
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for maintaining and enhancing web application interfaces.
  • Ability to quickly understand existing code and database structures, efficiently troubleshoot issues, and deliver pragmatic improvements within defined contract timelines.
  • Experience with development tools like Visual Studio, source control systems such as GitHub, project management tools like Jira, collaboration platforms like Confluence, and adherence to standard software development lifecycle practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse business and technical teams.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience with internal workflow, case management, queue management, or operational processing applications.
