Check out the salary scale Application Window Open date: August 6, 2026 Next review date: Sunday, Aug 23, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Thursday, Aug 5, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The UC Irvine Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Department of Otolaryngology seek a full-time Assistant Project Scientist with an experience in building micro medical devices that will be placed in the ear. Such devices will be used for hearing research in animals. The salary would be $100,400 - $229,000 per year based on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate should have a background in Electrical Engineering. * Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Qualifications: A Ph.D. from an accredited university. The initial appointment will be for a one-year period, with the possibility of an extension depending on performance and availability of funding.
