What You'll Do:
- Partner with technology domain leadership to support strategic decision-making and improve technology delivery and operational efficiency.
- Define and communicate current-state and target-state architectures, principles, standards, patterns, and domain roadmaps aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Research emerging technologies and industry trends, providing fact-based recommendations and identifying opportunities for new platforms, products, and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders across business, applications, data, cloud/infrastructure, security, integration, operations, and support.
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture reference materials and provide architectural guidance for strategic initiatives, governance discussions, and leadership meetings.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in developing and integrating applications using relevant software architecture principles and patterns
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in software engineering, software delivery, and solution architecture
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in Business Architecture
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in Business and Technology Acumen
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business architecture, strategy, consulting, or transformation roles
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in building business architecture artifacts (capability maps, value streams, operating models)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in large, complex enterprises
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelors Degree
- Masters Degree in Business or Technical
- Working knowledge of architectural frameworks
- Working knowledge of enterprise architecture tools
- Certification and experience working with Cloud technologies and vendors
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks
- Experience working in the financial services industry
- Experience working in two or more technical roles related to banking technical design and roadmap planning
- Exceptional Executive Communication Skills
- Certified Business Architect (CBA*) - Business Architecture Guild
- TOGAF or equivalent EA certification
- Strategic thinking and business model design
- Capability modeling and value stream mapping
- Systems thinking and enterprise analysis
- Stakeholder facilitation and executive communication
- Problem-solving and structured decision-making
- Financial and investment analysis (business case, prioritization)
- Influence without authority across complex organizations
- Visualization and modeling (e.g., capability maps, operating models)
- Business Architecture Guild / BIZBOK concepts and practices
- Capabilities, value streams, organization, information mapping
- Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, FEAPO-aligned definitions)
- Operating model design and business transformation methods
- Financial services industry structure, regulations, and risk considerations
- Portfolio management and investment prioritization
- SDLC and technology delivery lifecycle alignment
- Data, process, and organizational design principles
