Welding certification or completion of a technical/trade school welding program is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding procedures. Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment, or equivalent technical training. Experience welding stainless steel and other metal components. Knowledge of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), quality standards, and weld inspection practices. Ability to identify welding defects and perform repairs when needed. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity and steady hand-eye coordination required for precision welding. Ability to safely wear required PPE, including welding helmets, gloves, and protective clothing. Job Duties Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other metal components according to engineering specifications and customer requirements. Set up and operate welding equipment, selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, filler materials, and welding parameters. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Inspect completed welds, complete quality documentation, and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Report recurring weld defects, material concerns, or production issues to Quality and Production leadership. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting continuous improvement, equipment maintenance, and manufacturing productivity initiatives.
