Technical training in industrial maintenance, millwright, mechanical maintenance, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation. Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, steel, pipe, or heavy industrial environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and material handling equipment. Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment. Millwright training, welding experience, CMMS experience, and forklift or crane certification are a plus. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and work at heights for extended periods. Ability to routinely lift and move up to 50 pounds, with heavier loads moved using mechanical assistance. Comfortable working in hot, dusty, noisy, and fast-paced industrial manufacturing environments. Must be able to wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other safety equipment. Job Duties Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pipe mill, rolling mill, finishing, and production equipment to maximize uptime and reliability. Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, overhead cranes, and other industrial machinery. Inspect, align, rebuild, and replace mechanical components while responding quickly to equipment breakdowns in a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to complete maintenance tasks safely and accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments to perform repairs and equipment upgrades. Complete work orders and maintenance records in the CMMS while partnering with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve performance and safety.
