Description and Requirements

About Our Team

We are seeking an AI Product Manager to help define, build, and deliver the next generation of Lenovo AI experiences. In this role, you will own key product experiences from discovery through launch, working closely with engineering, design, research, product planning, business development, and other product leaders. You will combine a deep understanding of users with an understanding of rapidly evolving AI technologies to identify opportunities, define product requirements, make thoughtful product tradeoffs, and turn emerging AI capabilities into intuitive, differentiated experiences for millions of users.

This is an opportunity to join a growing AI organization and play a hands-on role in shaping how AI comes to life across Lenovo's ecosystem of devices and services.

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid; 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

What You'll Do

* Own the strategy, roadmap, requirements, and execution for key AI-powered product experiences across Lenovo devices and services.

* Identify meaningful user problems and determine where AI can create differentiated, high-value experiences.

* Translate product strategy and user needs into clear product requirements, priorities, user stories, and success metrics.

* Partner closely with engineering, design, research, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through launch and iteration.

* Work directly with AI technologies, including generative AI, large language models, AI agents, multimodal experiences, and cloud- and device-based AI capabilities.

* Evaluate emerging AI technologies and models and determine how they can be applied to real-world consumer experiences.

* Use market research, competitive analysis, user research, product analytics, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities.

* Balance user experience, technical feasibility, business impact, privacy, security, performance, and cost when making product decisions.

* Define and track product KPIs and use data and experimentation to continuously improve experiences after launch.

* Collaborate with product planning, strategy, business development, and partner teams to develop product strategy and business cases for new opportunities.

* Work across Lenovo's device portfolio to create experiences that take advantage of the broader Lenovo ecosystem.

* Communicate product vision, priorities, tradeoffs, progress, and results clearly to stakeholders and senior leadership.

* Stay current on the rapidly evolving AI landscape and bring new ideas and technologies into Lenovo's product roadmap.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

* 12+ years of product management experience delivering software, digital, or technology products.

* Demonstrated experience owning products or major product features from concept through launch and ongoing iteration.

* Experience working closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver user-facing products.

* Experience translating customer needs and complex technical capabilities into clear product requirements and compelling user experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience building AI-powered products or experiences, particularly products involving generative AI, large language models, AI agents, multimodal AI, personalization, or conversational interfaces.

* Experience with consumer technology, consumer electronics, mobile, web, Android, Windows, or cloud-based products.

* Strong understanding of AI product development, including model capabilities and limitations, evaluation, latency, cost, privacy, safety, and responsible AI considerations.

* Experience working with software, hardware, design, and development teams and navigating the technical constraints of experiences that span devices and cloud services.

* Experience developing products within agile, pod-based, or similarly cross-functional product organizations.

* Experience using rapid prototyping, experimentation, A/B testing, user research, and analytics to validate product hypotheses.

* Strong product judgment and passion for creating simple, intuitive experiences from complex technologies.

* Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment where technology, customer expectations, and product requirements are evolving quickly.

* Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing opportunities and make effective product tradeoffs using data, customer insights, and business objectives.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to move between strategy and hands-on execution.

* Experience working with globally distributed product and engineering teams is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

You will help Lenovo turn rapidly evolving AI capabilities into products that solve meaningful user problems. Successful candidates will be equally comfortable defining a product vision, debating an AI experience with designers and engineers, analyzing user feedback and metrics, and driving the details required to ship a high-quality product.

You will be a product owner who can bring clarity to ambiguity, move quickly from idea to validation, and ultimately deliver AI experiences that users value and want to use every day.
