Are you curious about how technology enables critical business processes? As a Business Systems Analyst Intern, you'll work alongside a global payroll product team to help improve systems, support business initiatives, and contribute to projects that impact employees around the world. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop both technical and functional business analysis skills while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise applications, requirements gathering, documentation, and system configuration.

Our Team

At Koch Technology you will join a global payroll product team of professionals supporting critical payroll systems and business processes. The team partners with stakeholders across multiple regions and supports ongoing business initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and technology transformation projects. Based on site in our Atlanta office, this role is designed to build long-term talent and provide future opportunities for continued growth within Koch.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand payroll processes and document business requirements
  • Assist with gathering, analyzing, and validating business and system requirements
  • Support payroll system configuration and testing activities
  • Create and maintain project documentation, process maps, and user materials
  • Participate in technology evaluation, implementation, and migration-related initiatives
  • Help support acquisitions, integrations, and other business projects impacting payroll systems
  • Explore new technologies, including artificial intelligence tools, and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Partner with teammates across technical and functional disciplines to deliver business value

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Eligible for full-time employment by June 2028
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite in Atlanta, Georgia during the internship and in potential future full-time opportunities
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Interest in business analysis, enterprise applications, payroll, human resources technology, finance, or business process improvement
  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to challenge the status quo to improve business outcomes
  • Exposure to SAP, Dayforce, Workday, or other enterprise systems
  • Experience creating documentation, process flows, requirements, or project deliverables
  • Coursework or project experience involving data analysis, systems analysis, or business process modeling
  • Curiosity about artificial intelligence tools, emerging technologies, and new ways of solving business problems through experimentation and continuous improvement
